Of course, Scotland is part of the UK, and if you fancy seeing more than just the Highlands, a United Kingdom road trip is the one for you.
There are plenty of places you can visit during seven days in the UK, including coastal areas like Brighton, medieval cities like York, and swathes of countryside.
But we're starting our seven-day road trip in London, where you can explore some of the UK's most iconic sites, like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Next, head to the magical city of Oxford before moving on to Bath.

Seven-Day California Road Trip Itinerary
Don't limit your seven-day road trip to the UK. Instead, jump on a plane and land in sunny California, where you can rent a car and go on an epic road trip.
California is filled with beautiful sites, from awe-inspiring coastline drives to buzzing and lively cities. If you find yourself on holiday in California, there's only one place to start your journey: Los Angeles.
The City of Angels is where you'll land, and you can discover favourites like Santa Monica Pier and Hollywood Boulevard.
On day two, drive to Santa Barbara for a more relaxing vibe before spending some time in Morro Bay on day three. Next, see the beauty of Big Sur and the laid-back vibes of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
End your trip with a stop in San Jose and San Francisco, where you can see the Golden Gate Bridge and ride the trams for the day if you're tired of driving.
