England and Manchester United Captain Harry Maguire's Cars

For those who don’t follow football too closely, Harry Maguire’s face became noticeable when he did everything he could to make England win the 2021 Euros, only to lamely lose out at penalties. It was a disappointing finish to an extremely promising tournament, and with the 2022 world cup soon approaching, we’ve all got our fingers crossed for Harry’s next appearance. However, football fans with an eye for talent will have clocked Maguire since 2011, back when he played for Sheffield United. We’re going to take a look through his career and his cars...🔎

Over the past ten years Harry has played for Sheffield United, Hull City, Wigan Athletic, Leicester City, Manchester United and the English national team. Over this period he’s been promoted to the captain of Manchester United, and with so many Man of the Match and Player of the Year wins, we’re not surprised by this choice. 

But what does Maguire do off the pitch? Well, he’s got a smart and gorgeous wife and they seem to take lots of holidays on boats together, so hopefully he won’t ditch football and sail off into the sunset. Harry and his wife Fern have got a few little footballers in the nest, although they keep the details private. Harry also volunteers with some of the other Manchester United players to work with young people with physical disabilities and SEN.

When he’s got time off his hectic schedule, Maguire has spent ‘rest day’ racing the rest of the England squad on inflatable unicorns in a swimming pool. It seems like Maguire must have just defeated fellow player Jesse Lingard, but the victory was pretty narrow. It might not be one of Harry’s regular rides, although he seemed to be enjoying it a lot.

The car Harry seems most proud of is his white Audi. The centre-back shared a photograph of his newest ride on Instagram. It’s an Audi A5 S Line Coupe with a diesel engine. As his family has grown though, he’s invested in some vehicles with a bit more room for everyone, and Maguire has been pictured arriving at Old Trafford in a matt black Land Rover. He’s also got a customised grey Land Rover and a white BMW Sedan, so there are plenty of choices for Harry to travel in style.

Traffic Jams?

Harry’s vehicle choice makes me think he values power over speed, but he’s been vocal about his annoyance with slow-moving vehicles. In his early days he spent a considerable amount of time posting photographs of traffic jams as a way of venting his annoyance with the situation. Even if most of us don’t grumble in a luxurious vehicle like Harry, it’s still pretty relatable.
